Work responsibilities

  • Risk Identification: Identify and evaluate operational risks across various business units and processes within the organization.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments to determine the potential impact and likelihood of identified risks, using quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Mitigation Strategies: Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, including the design and implementation of control frameworks.
  • Policy and Procedure Development: Contribute to the development and maintenance of operational risk policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Incident Management: Manage and coordinate the reporting and investigation of operational incidents and breaches, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Risk Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on operational risk to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards related to operational risk management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Experience in operational risk management or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of risk management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
